Located in Grass Lake, Michigan... nestled in the scenic Irish Hills of South Central Michigan, Great Lakes Shiba Inu has a wonderful family atmopshere from which our Shiba are raised.

A single father family of 3 boys... you'll find your new Shiba puppy is fully socialized, playful and alert. These aren't dogs raised in a barn and who live in a kennel. -- UPDATE -- : On June 16th, 2007 I went from being a single father of 3 to a married man with a wonderful wife named Shawnie and 2 step-children Katie and Miceala.

Larger breeders will tell you that a small operation can't produce top quality pups. It just isn't true. While it is correct we don't produce champions, we also aren't trying. We specialize in family pets... AKC registered of course, but without the temperament problems of high end show dogs.

All our puppies come with a vet certification of health, first shots and de-worming and 8 weeks (or more) of the best care any person can give.
